Wildlife and Landscape Photography

Wildlife and landscape photography  is primarily a self-indulgence in escapism.  It does also provide me with oprtunities to hone my skills as a photorapher in situations where I have no control over any of the variables (you can’t very well ask the bird to hold that pose a little longer!).  Similar to photographing sporting events, knowing the subject, timing and predicting movement is critical to success for wildlife, while landscape photography provides the opportunity to slow down, think and take my time before shooting.
